Overview
It’s in the small acts of kindness, caring and connection that we can heal and weave the future we want. We can make lives better.
The Season of Giving is upon us. Your endless support allows the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana to grow and expand its services to Louisianians who are affected by chronic kidney disease.

The National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana needs your support to help sustain and create programs like: "Safe Rides with Uber Health"; "Stepping Back Into Life": a mental health program developed for dialysis patients; "Kidneys in the Classroom"; and the crisis intervention fund.
What is Giving Tuesday?
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.

What is Give Nola Day?
GiveNOLA Day, an initiative of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is a one-day online giving event. For 24 hours, everyone who loves our region can support their favorite local causes by donating to one or more of 900+ participating nonprofit organizations. Since our first event in 2014, GiveNOLA Day has raised over $57 million for our region’s nonprofits. This year, we hope to do even more!
