The fun will start Sunday with five and a half days of Pre-Registered
Workshops, plus "THE WORLD'S LARGEST MINIATURE WORKSHOP"
on Thursday and this "Whopper" is a Freebie!
During this
year's Thursday all-day workshop, Braxton Payne along with his staff
of assistants, will guide you through the construction phase of
your very own "Patio or Courtyard Vignette." And it's
FREE! After all, you'll have to have someplace to keep all your
mini finds while you take yourself for a walk through the Sales
Room filled with more than 60+ of the top dealers from across the
United States and Canada.
In keeping with our theme, we're also planning a costume party
on Thursday evening and hope that everyone will come dressed in
their favorite costume. There will be prizes for the winners. We'll
have prizes for the best Man's and Woman's costumes, and with a
group combined costume too! After dinner you can enjoy some
of the Round Robin Workshops.
The workshops will continue during the day on Friday. The early evening
"Preview Party" will be your first chance to marvel
at the imaginative exhibits and shop for all those irresistible
mini goodies. But hurry --- they'll go fast. Afterwards we'll
gather for our live auction of fabulous hand-crafted miniatures
and then there will be a drawing for the $1000.00 SHOPPING SPREE!
Some of you could be winners of part of the total of ONE THOUSAND
DOLLARS IN VOUCHERS TO SPEND ANYWHERE IN THE SALES ROOM!!! The drawing
is open to all registered guests. But you must be there to win!
Start off Saturday morning with coffee and donuts and then it's
on to the "Round Robin" workshops until noon or choose
anyone of Saturday's Pre-Registered Workshops. The Sales Room and
Exhibits Hall will open at noon. The gala banquet is Saturday night.
Visit and meet new miniature enthusiasts, exchange ideas.
Plan on bringing a gift to exchange with one of your table mates,
and we'll also draw to select the lucky winners of the fabulous
hand-made centerpieces!
Sunday morning you will enjoy breakfast, and be treated to an unusual
miniature program by one of our artisans. Later, there will
be time for more Round Robin Workshops. At noon the Exhibit Hall
and Sales Room will open for your final shopping before the event
is over at 4:00pm.
The post show tour
will not be held this year (2006)
